One of the main instruments that the Fondazione uses to achieve its aims is the organisation of international congresses particularly concerning medical disciplines.

In its almost 30 years of activity the Fondazione has so far organised over 300 international conferences on medical and biological topics with particular innovative features, or on themes which have been of particular interest to the medical world because of their vast scientific implications and their repercussions in practical terms. These conferences, which have hosted the greatest international and national experts as guest speakers, have been attended by tens of thousands of doctors who have thus benefited from an advanced updating and have moreover had the opportunity of forming contacts with the greatest international schools and their scientific representatives. As a result, collaborative projects have often been set up which have frequently led to the entry of Italian researchers into prestigious international institutes.

Numerous representatives of the Italian scientific world have offered their precious contributions, summarising the main points and most significant data arising from the Symposia of the Fondazione in a series of editorials in the journal "Minuti Menarini".

Besides the scientific activity arising out of the congresses and the publication of the journal "Minuti Menarini", there has been the publishing programme of the Fondazione, which has worked with specialised publishers like the Plenum Press of New York, the Raven Press of New York, S. Karger (Basle), Schwabe (Basle) in the editing and publication of the proceedings of their scientifically most important congresses. In this way the results of its initiatives and above all the most conclusive outcomes of the activity it promotes have been made accessible to an international public.
