Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the International Summit on Atherothrombosis, to be held on July 13-15 2017 at the University Campus of the “G. d’Annunzio” University in Chieti, Italy. This meeting will provide an in-depth update on some of the hottest topics in atherothrombosis, the main cause of ischemic heart disease, including myocardial infarction and sudden death. The meeting is organized around 19 scientific lectures followed by adequate discussion, over two and a half days. Topics will cover basic understanding of the pathophysiological substrate – atherosclerosis and thrombosis; a session with translational insight – coupled with the understanding of new therapeutic targets; and a clinically-oriented session, with focus on recent advances and new developments. This will be possible through an outstanding international Faculty that will gather world experts in the field. We are confident that the 2017 International Summit will be an extremely productive meeting, able to provide you with a unique opportunity to improve your understanding of this complex and rapidly evolving area of Medicine.
